One Giant Leap for Houston, One Big Step for Texan Kind
Houston, there is no problem and all systems are go. This is the town that put men on the moon for this country and finally we have managed to put our own team in the World Series. Baseball was the first sport that I grew to love and I've been an Astros fan all of my life. I've been through all the heartbreaks; losing to Philly in '80, Charlie Kerfeld blowing the game in the 16th inning against the Mets in '86, being up 3-2 against St. Louis in '04 and not getting it done, and the Albert Pujols home run bottom of the ninth with 2 outs and 2 strikes in the game 5 of the '05 NLCS. Now there is redemption. We have finally made it to the promised land and it feels good to be an Astros fan. I'm going to the sports shop just after work and picking up my Biggio 7 road jersey.
Go 'stos!

Us Houston fans are long-suffering, but right about now it's good to be a Houstonian. I couldn't be happier that the Killer B's are finally getting that World Series monkey off their backs.

I've always wondered how damn near every person on that team has a last name that begins with the letter B or at least has the letter B in their name.
Tough break ... there's always next year!
